Share links. When you share a recipe as a link, a copy of it, including its notes, is stored separately from your account. Anyone with a Prune account who has the link can open that copy and save it to their own account. The copy expires 90 days after you share it. You can remove it sooner with Stop sharing on the recipe, and it's removed when you delete your account. Copies that others have already saved belong to them. Recipes you share as text or PDF go through the app you pick in the share sheet.Legal reasons. If Prune is transferred to a new owner, your information may go with it, under this policy. We'll tell you before that happens.

Importing Recipes and Websites You Open

When you import a recipe, your device contacts the recipe website directly; the page doesn't pass through our servers.• What the website sees. Like any web visit, the site can see your IP address and basic device and browser information. It may also set cookies, under its own privacy policy.• Cookies stay on your device. For some sites, Prune loads the page in a hidden in-app browser. That browser keeps the site's cookies and cache on your device, so later imports work faster. We never receive them. Deleting the app removes them.• What gets saved. Only the recipe you choose to save, plus the web address it came from, is stored in your account.• Other sites. When you open a recipe's original page or another link from Prune, that website's own privacy policy applies.
